Description: Smart home is a house that uses technology to monitor the environment with the help of various sensors, control the electrical appliances and communicate the outer world. Now-a-days the demand for home automation systems in homes and offices are invariably increasing. The home automation system is a key for energy conservation that can be equipped in normal buildings. As there are many benefits of wireless technology over wired, most of the home automation systems are based on the WSN technology. In this paper we present the design and implementation of a smart home based on LabVIEW using wireless sensor network system. The system can monitor the temperature, light, fire & burglar alarm of the house and have infrared sensor to guarantees the family security. The monitored data is automatically stored into an excel file. The system can be connected to internet to monitor the security of home anywhere in the world.-Smart home is a house that uses technology to monitor the environment with the help of various sensors, control the electrical appliances and communicate the outer world. Description: The present work treats the problem of routing
data within a wireless sensors network (WSN) for industrial
process control. Our application interests British Gas to monitor
the level of propane in a tank. The considered methodology is
based on the algorithm CSMA / CA Slotted to access the
medium, the processing algorithm measures the volume of
propane to exploit failing sensors and intelligent routing
algorithm transmission value through the base station while
ensuring minimizing energy consumption and maximizing the life
time of nodes. The combination of these mechanisms gives birth
to a new approach which has been applied to a WSN installed in
the industry in order to analyze the performance of the
techniques developed for the quality of service Qos, the energy
conservation and extension of life.

Description: The aim of the present work is to develop a new
Convergecast routing technique which allows to connect many
source nodes to a single sink node via a wireless sensor network
(WSN). The synthesized method overcame the problem of energy
consumption resulting the repetition of the course of the
edges during a transmission period. The proposed technique,
based on intelligent routing algorithm to transmit the collected
data to the base station, ensured a reduction of the routing paths
length. This new approach was applied to a WSN, designed to
control the temperature and volume of propane and butane in
the tanks of the British Gas Group, for minimizing the energy
consumed and increasing the life cycle of the network.

Description: Abstract—In recent years, as the development of wireless sensor networks, people do some deep research on clusterbased protocol, most about the prolongation of the lifetime of WSN and decline of energy consumed by the sensors .This article analyses the cluster-heads generating algorithm among LEACH and presents improved approach that adjusting the nodes, Threshold function. When non cluster-heads choose optimal cluster-head, they consider comprehensive nodes' residual energy and distance to base-station, then compare their performance, the simulation results show that the new strategy of cluster-heads election achieve great advance in sensor and networks' life-time

Description: that monitor certain conditions in different locations and transfer data
through a network to an endpoint called base station. Because WSN nodes are
often deployed outdoors where a direct power outlet may not be available, energy
efficiency becomes a key factor in the design of WSNs. This work proposes an
antenna transmission power optimisation algorithm (TPOA) which dynamically
adjusts the power level of the transmission according to the last received signal
strength indicator (RSSI). The mechanism was implemented and tested on an
XbeeWSNthat uses a modifiedMixed Hop and signalReceived routing for mobile
Wireless Sensor Networks (MHRWSN) protocol. The energy consumption results
have shown that the proposed system can save as much as 76% of power in Tx
operations while maintaining a packet reception rate of above 85%
